When submitting a request to close a business listing or business page, the request must be sent from an email address that clearly includes the business name (for example: info@YourBusinessName.com, office@YourBusinessName.com, or yourbusinessname@gmail.com).
This step helps confirm the request is coming from the business owner or an authorized representative and helps prevent:
Fraudulent closure requests
Competitor sabotage
Incorrect or accidental listing removals
We may not process closure requests submitted from:
Personal email accounts that do not include the business name (example: janedoe@gmail.com)
Third-party emails that do not clearly match the business name
