AAA is reporting a surge in Gas Prices after the Memorial Day Holiday.
The current average price in Arkansas is at a record high, currently set at $4.13 per gallon. In Missouri, the average price is even higher, currently sitting at $4.24 per gallon.
While some gas stations and stores had gas priced $3.99 during the weekend, many of those same locations in the Branson area has gas as high as $4.29 according to the Ozarks First Gas Price Tracker. In the Harrison area, some reports also indicate gas at that price though some locations are a few cents cheaper.
The current national average according to AAA is $4.67 per gallon.
