Two anglers are rescued after their boat ran aground on Bull Shoals Lake Tuesday.
According to a release from Marion County Sheriff Gregg Alexander, their office got a call for assistance around 9:15 that evening from the anglers after their boat got stuck near Ozark Isle. Two deputies responded in the Sheriff’s Department Boat, located the men, and took them back to the Bull Shoals Boat Dock.
The two anglers, identified as Dennis Cate and Rick Gage of Jonesboro, were not reported as injured but their boat sustained moderate damage and was left at the scene to be towed later.
