A man who works with two emergency agencies in the Lakes Region is facing Domestic Assault Charges.
According to a probable cause statement filed by the Taney County Sheriff's Office, Joshua Single of Hollister is facing charges of 3rd Degree Domestic Assault for the incident that occurred in March. The statement indicates Single and the female victim had been drinking when an argument began which lead to Single allegedly grabbing the victim by the throat trying to take her keys and phone away.
Single is scheduled to appear in court for a hearing on the charges on May 27.
Single is employed by the Taney County Ambulance District and is also a Battalion Chief for the Western Taney County Fire Protection District. In statements to the Branson Tri-Lakes News, officials from both agencies say they are aware of the situation and are taking appropriate actions pending the resolution of the charges. Single has been suspended from his Battalion Chief position with WTCFPD according to the district's statement released to the Branson Tri-Lakes News.
