The University of Missouri Extension Office recently released the names of the Farm Families in each county nominated for the Missouri Farm Family of the Year Award.
Area nominees include in Taney County, Follow Thru Farms in Bradleyville. Operated by the Sonnenfelt Family, the farm consists of registered Red Angus and Simmental cows. According to a release from Taney County University of Missouri Extension posted in the Branson Tri-Lakes News, the farm produces their own USDA Beef, much of which is sold locally.
Other farm families nominated in the region include Senters Farm in Barry County, Craig Hollow Farm near Highlandville in Christian County, VanRanken Family Farm in Ozark County, and Finch Family Farm in Stone County.
