State of Arkansas Sen. Scott Flippo said it’s predicted that Arkansas will have a billion-dollar surplus at the end of the fiscal year; Flippo spoke with KHOZ’s “Around The Table” on Thursday.
At the same time, Flippo acknowledged current inflation and gas price struggles. Part of the surplus is based upon a conservative budget from the state. The other part, Flippo said, comes from “federal COVID dollars.”
The full interview with Flippo can be found on the “Around The Table” Facebook Page.
