KHOZ’s Around The Table hosts Coleman Taylor and Spree Hilliard recently toured Harrison’s GOBSmobile.
Ozarks Dynacom's Coleman Taylor and Spree Hilliard, hosts of "Around the Table," recently toured Harrison’s GOBSmobile, a mobile STEM educational facility designed to keep young people engaged during the summer break and help prevent the so called "summer slide" students sometimes experience.
Superintendent, Dr. Stewart Pratt, says it is an outreach program giving students in the Harrison community easy access to learning tools. The bus provides Wi-Fi to student's devices and is equipped with technology, books and more.
While COVID-19 has brought many negatives, it helped birth the idea for the mobile learning base. The GOBSMobile has been termed “a bus full of education.” High school students are also welcome to use the resource. For more information and to see the entire tour video, those interested can visit the Around The Table Facebook Page.
