A man has been charged in connection with a shooting incident in Branson earlier this week.
Court documents indicate Jose Alberto Rodriguez De Jesus of Branson is facing a Felony Charge of Unlawful Use of a Firearm after he is shot at a vehicle from his vehicle as both were in the area of Shepherd of the Hills Expressway and Little Pete Road Tuesday morning.
According to the Probable Cause Statement, witnesses identified De Jesus vehicle and officers later found the vehicle in the Country Mart parking lot on Highway 248. De Jesus told officers he fired at the vehicle in self-defense. A firearm was found in the vehicle as officers were talking with De Jesus.
