Arrest Made in Nixa Shooting

A man has been charged in the shooting at Diversified Plastics in Nixa last week that left the victim seriously injured.

According to online court records, Kale Lawrence is charged with first-degree assault, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon.
According to the probable cause statement, the incident happened on Friday as an officer was called to Diversified Plastics in response to assault that was taking place. Officers found a man with a gunshot wound to the chest while Lawrence had a head wound. The statement said and argument was ongoing and led to Lawrence shooting the victim while another employee injured Lawrence. 

Lawrence is being held without bond in the Christian County Jail.
