Author Laurie Jameson spoke with Around The Table on KHOZ Tuesday talking about her most recent book, “The Kitten” and gave tips for aspiring writers.
Jameson has been writing since 2012. She said she never planned on being a writer but is a reader. “It took me five years to write my first book,” she said. It was published in 2017.
She said writers need to be readers, they need to start writing, and they need to pay attention to details. “Take notes, take character notes,” she said. Jameson’s books deal with real issues including abuse, forgiveness, and more. “The Kitten” deals with the topic of pedophilia.
Jameson’s full interview can be heard on Around The Table’s Facebook Page.
