A man that had gone missing late Monday night after his vehicle was swept into a creek has been found.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol online report, the body of 50-year-old Brian Richardson of Pottersville was found by Patrol Officers in Bryant Creek Saturday morning. Richardson had been driving a vehicle on an Ozark County Road late Monday night when the vehicle was swept off of Warren Bridge by water that had risen during the period of heavy rain. The report indicates Richardson had been able to get out of his vehicle but then never resurfaced from the creek.
According to a report by the Ozark County Sheriff's office earlier this week, Richardson's girlfriend had notified them about the accident and rescue workers had located the vehicle several hours later but were not able to locate Richardson.
