A single vehicle crash near Shepherd of the Hills Fish Hatchery leaves one person dead.
According to a release from the Branson Police Department, officers responded to a call around 1:40 Friday afternoon at the intersection of Highway 165 and Austin Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found one person from the vehicle deceased and two others that were injured. The injured were transported to the hospital for treatment.
A preliminary investigation indicates speed might have contributed to the crash. No names have been released by Law Enforcement.
Branson Police was assisted at the scene by Branson Fire Rescue, Taney County Ambulance, and the Taney County Coroner.
