The Omaha Fire Department has determined a hair salon along Old Highway 65 in Omaha is a total loss after the structure caught fire over the weekend.
According to a KY3 report posted by KTLO, the Omaha Fire Department, with aid from surrounding departments, responded to the scene Saturday evening around 9. Crews were able to contain the flames before spreading to a separate building.
Omaha Assistant Fire Chief Ruben Foreman says in the report that firefighters were able to contain the fire quickly but wind and hot spots along with the cold temperatures presented a challenge.
A fire investigator was expected back at the scene on Tuesday to continue the investigation.
More details with the full story posted on the KTLO Website.
