Community Blood Center of the Ozarks (CBCO) is hosting Light It Up Blood Drive.
The drive will be held Friday at all four CBCO donor centers in Springfield, Joplin, Springdale and Bentonville.
According to a press release, donors “will receive a T-shirt and a $10.00 Kum & Go gift card, and will have a shot at the grand prize package.” “It [the drive] is vital to build reserves just before a weekend that will see so many people traveling,” CBCO Media Relations Representative Chris Pilgrim said. “Get your weekend started off right by saving lives and by getting some great gifts as well.”
The gifts include a $10.00 Kum & Go gift card, a free T-shirt with a “fresh summer message,” and a chance to win the “golden ticket” which allows the winner to walk away with a fireworks package valued at $175.00. Appointments are encouraged but walk-ins are welcome. Information can be found in addition to sign ups for the drive on their website.
