One of the big annual events in the Lakes Region is coming up.
The 34th Annual Crawdad Days Festival is set for the Northwest Arkansas District Fairgrounds Thursday through Saturday. Activities will take place in the evenings the first two days with a full day of activities scheduled for Saturday.
Crawfish sales and food vendors will be open throughout the festival along with a carnival and presentations of the Paul Bunyan Lumberjack Show. The Petting Zoo and Camal and Pony Rides will also take place each day.
Live music will also be featured with Hunter Courville and Cajun Fever performing on Friday with Kickin Kountry and 7 South taking the stage Saturday.
Other events scheduled for Saturday include the 5K Run/Walk along with the Kids and Adults Crawfish Eating Contests.
