Parts of the Lakes Region could see an elevated Fire Risk today due to strong winds and dry air.
The National Weather Service says the winds could gust from 25-30 MPH from the northwest which along with the dry air could increase the chances of burns getting out of control. Officials are cautioning against outdoor burning over the next couple of days.
The next chance of rain in the region is on Thursday.
