A Tuesday morning fire has closed an area supermarket for a few days.
The fire occurred at Country Mart in Forsyth. Several posts on social media indicate the fire was limited to a small area of the store.
According to Facebook Posts by both the Forsyth Fire and Police Departments, no one was injured in the blaze that was worked by Forsyth Fire with assistance from both Central and Western Taney County Fire.
An assessment is underway with staff along with city officials on getting the building safe for reopening. The posts go on to say that the store will likely be closed for a few days but the Pharmacy Drive Thru will be open.
Police Chief Pat Gray states in his post that the cause of the fire is under investigation.
