A local Fire Chief reminds people about keeping their gatherings fire safe for the upcoming Thanksgiving Holiday.
Ted Martin, on Tuesday's "Ozarks Now" Program on KRZK reminded people about being attentive during the preparation of the Thanksgiving meal and to keep young people and pets away from the cooking areas. For those that plan to fry a Turkey, Martin strongly recommends reading up on the guidelines for turkey frying prior to preparation as it is easy for to lose control and have a fire break out quickly.
Martin also reminds people that plan on decorating for Christmas during the weekend to keep any natural Christmas Tree well hydrated and to also observe all guidelines will plugging in electric lights.
