Another area of the Lakes Region saw traffic issues over the weekend, this time due to a fire.
The Western Taney County Fire Protection District releases information on a natural cover fire that took place near the intersection of Highway 248 and Sycamore Church Road just south of the Ozark Mountain High Road on Saturday. Western Crews were aided by Branson Fire-Rescue in battling the blaze that ended up destroying a garage. A nearby residence was not damaged, and no injuries were reported from the fire that did close Sycamore Church Road for a time.
Taney County Ambulance and the Taney County Sheriff’s Office assisted on the scene.
