A Lakes Area School Superintendent is leaving for another position at the end of the school year.
Dr. Allison Pope will leave the Hurley School District at the end of June. Pope posted a letter on the school's website recently a farewell letter thanking members of the community and patrons of the district for their support. Pope has been Superintendent in Hurley for the past seven years.
According to information posted by the Webb City School District, Pope will become that District's New Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction in July.
In her letter posted on the Hurley School Website, Pope says they hope to have her successor for that position named later this month.
