The mothers of two people murdered in Branson in 2021 have filed a lawsuit against the accused murder and victim’s place of employment.
In a filing in Taney County Court, the mothers are suing Miguel Angel Melendez Torres who is charged with killing Krystal Buhl and Richard McMahan as well as Jones Restaurants Missouri LLC, who operates Famous Dave’s BBQ, the site of the double homicide on May 29 of 2021.
The filing is for wrongful death in the committing of the murders and for the restaurant not providing proper security measures.
