A pedestrian walking along Highway 76 east is struck by a vehicle early Saturday morning.
According to the report posted by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the 49-year-old man from Branson was walking along the highway when he was hit by an eastbound vehicle. That vehicle left the scene before the arrival of first responders.
The pedestrian, not named in the Highway Patrol report, was taken to Cox Medical Center in Branson for treatment of moderate injuries.
