(KODE & KSN) — Missouri WIC, a program that makes sure women, infants, and children don’t go hungry is making changes.
Those changes went into effect today in the Show Me State and are mostly impacting what the program covers. For example, moving to store brands from national brands for things like hot and cold cereal, providing shredded cheese instead of block cheese, and removing yogurt, goat milk, and evaporated milk.
McDonald County Health Department director Michael Hall says some things will still remain the same, however.
