Last week's end to the 2025-26 School Year wrapped up the first one for Branson Superintendent of Schools Dr. Nate Moore.
Moore, during a recent interview on KRZK's "Ozarks Now" program, says that he has been happy with his first year at the helm, including being able to connect with many people in the community and keep open communications with students, parents, and school patrons. Moore said though he had been in the district for several years, his previous position as the District's Finance Officer did not have him out in the community as much. Moore credits previous superintendent Dr. Brad Swofford for giving him background on previous decisions and projects that were already underway.
Moore said one of those projects, the new Activities Center at the Junior High Campus, was one of the highlights of his first year. He also said one of the ongoing projects is the continuing development of Early Childhood Services.
