A motorcycle collides with a deer late Sunday afternoon sending the driver to the hospital with serious injuries.
According to the post from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the 41-year-old man from Springfield was traveling northbound on Highway 65 near the south intersection with Highway 176 when the motorcycle struck the deer ejecting the driver. The motorcycle overturned and came to a rest of of the highway.
The motorcyclist was taken to Cox South Hospital in Springfield for treatment of his injuries.
