The Missouri State Highway Patrol works three Lakes Region accidents over the weekend.
On Saturday evening, a pickup truck ran off of Patterson Drive near Taneyville and struck an embankment. The driver of the truck, a 46-year-old man from Kissee Mills, was taken to Cox South Hospital in Springfield for treatment.
Two other accidents occurred on Sunday. One occurred Sunday morning in Indian Point, when a SUV driven by a 37-year-old man from Nebraska left the roadway and struck fence post then a tree. The victim sustained serious injuries and was taken to Cox South for treatment.
The final accident occurred in Branson on Shepherd of the Hills Expressway late Sunday afternoon, when a 60-year-old woman from Branson failed to stop her vehicle at a stop sign and collided with a vehicle. The woman sustained minor injuries that were treated at Cox Medical Center Branson while the driver of the other vehicle was not injured.
