A project years in the making will see it's conclusion this week.
This Wednesday at 11:30 am, the new Branson Public Safety Building will be dedicated with a Ribbon Cutting. The new building will house all of the offices and equipment for the Branson Police Department as well as offices for Branson Fire & Rescue.
For years, city officials had been trying to come up with the best plan to get the much needed upgrade to the current police facility located in City Hall. A suggestion by Ward 3 Alderman Ralph LeBlanc to look into the vacant White House Theater off a Gretna Road eventually led to the purchase and the renovation of that building.
Wednesday's ceremony will include tours available to the public of the entire facility.
