Two National Weather Service Observer Sites near the Lakes Region are in need of Volunteers.
According to a release from the Weather Service office in Springfield, Volunteer Cooperative weather observers are needed at several locations including in the Isabella/Protem area near the Ozark/Taney County line and in southwestern Douglas County near the Taney County line. Equipment will be provided by the National Weather Service.
