President/CEO of the Branson Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce says visitor numbers have overall been good so far in 2022.
During an interview on KRZK's "Ozarks Now" program, Jason Outman says that weather has been a big factor which has led to numbers being down some months, up in others. Outman says while visitor numbers are about 5% down from a record 2021, the numbers are still solid compared to 2019 .In addition, tax revenues have held strong during the season.
Outman does say that many area businesses are still struggling with employee numbers which is a result of the continuing need for housing throughout the region.
