An Ozark County man faces additional charges after drug paraphernalia was found in his car on after being released from the Missouri Department of Corrections.
According to the Ozark County Sheriff’s Office, deputies conducted a traffic stop on Missouri State Highway 5, where K9 Karo was deployed to search the vehicle.
K9 Karo indicated a controlled substance was in the vehicle, and a search yielded paraphernalia inside. Two individuals, Christopher Campbell and Carrie Laird, were arrested and transported to the Ozark County Detention Center on charges of possession of paraphernalia.
Deputies state Campbell was on his way home from the Missouri Department of Corrections and was still wearing his prison sandals at the time of the arrest. He is currently on parole for possession of a controlled substance.
