Officials in Searcy County are reporting the possible sighting of two murder suspects from Boone County.
Law enforcement officers from multiple agencies have been searching for 49-year-old Lee Stockstill and 38-year-old Heather Dawn Scallion following a shooting incident in Boone County last Thursday morning that resulted in the death of 59-year-old Tim Blackburn.
Searcy County Judge Jim Harness posted a message on the Searcy County Office of Emergency Management’s Facebook page Wednesday night saying a hunter had spotted the two suspects in the Calf Creek Peter Cave Ridge area of Searcy County.
The witness says the male was wearing a plaid shirt and blue jeans and had a backpack. The female was wearing a camouflage shirt and blue jeans and may have also had a backpack.
Officials say the two should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone who sees the suspects or knows of their whereabouts is asked to call 911.
