A frontal system is moving through the area today bringing a slight chance of rain and a temperature change.
The warmest part of the day will be this morning with temperatures beginning to fall by mid-morning and winds shifting to the northwest with gusts of over 35 MPH. Officials are again warning against any outdoor burning today due to the strong winds.
While rain is possible, any precipitation will be brief and move out by late morning. Lows tonight will drop down into the 20s but a quick rebound is in the National Weather Service forecast with highs Friday into the 50s, then into the 60s by Saturday.
