Even though the first day of spring is nearly three weeks away, the first week of March will have a spring feel to it.
The National Weather Service indicates a wet pattern is expecting through the middle of the month with rounds or rain expected. February ended with some rain for parts of the region but the first day of March Sunday saw many areas get rain which has continued into this morning.
A break in the rain is expected this afternoon and Tuesday, showers redevelop early Wednesday morning. With Tuesday's highs soaring into the upper 70s and around 80, instability may develop with a Marginal to Slight Risk of Severe Storms during the day Wednesday.
The wet pattern continues with a chance of rain in the forecast everyday Wednesday through Saturday.
