The Reeds Spring School District has cancelled their scheduled Trunk or Treat event scheduled for this evening.
The school's Director of Communications Ben Fisher says due to the rain expected on this evening plus there being no indoor option available that can safely handle the crowd, the event had to be cancelled.
Fisher says they are planning to put together bags of candy that will be sent home on Friday with students in sixth grade and below.
