Numerous severe storms are moving through the Lakes Region.
A change of direction for a line of storms has got the Lakes Region under Severe Thunderstorm Warnings for both the Branson and Harrison areas with wind gusts of up to 70 MPH impacting the region.

The Lakes Region was hit with some overnight rain which is causing some travel issues this morning.
Branson Schools Announces New Executive Director of Operations
BRANSON, MO (January 16, 2026) – Branson Public Schools is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Matt Dean as the district’s new Executive Director of Operations. Dean will replace Dr. Chip Arnette, who will retire at the end of the 2025-2026 school year after 35 years of service in public education.
