Though a major winter event is not expected, the chances of the Lakes Region seeing snow on Monday have increased.
The National Weather Service says chances range from 30-50% of some winter precipitation on Monday in the form of Snow Showers and possibly some sleet. Temperatures will only be in the low 30s for highs on Monday and drop below freezing overnight. Precipitation is expected to end by Monday night.
Leading up to Monday, a rainy and windy Saturday in the Lakes Region with many arounds from Branson to the west under a wind advisory with potential wind gusts up to 40 MPH expected before winds begin to diminish by mid-afternoon. Sunday will be dry and much colder with highs only in the 30s.
