Showers and thunderstorms have cleared the area making way for a quiet weekend with a cooler start.
As the front dropped low temperatures into the 40s this morning, the clearing skies will see highs only rebound into the 60s, nearly 20 degrees lower than Friday. Low temperatures will drop to around 40 tonight with some areas possibly seeing temperatures in the upper 30s.
A quick warm-up takes place Sunday with temperatures rebounding into the 70s through midweek.
While parts of the Ozarks saw significant storms over the last two days, most of the Lakes Region was spared any storm damage though many areas did see rain helping areas from a recent increase in drought conditions.
