The application period remains open for grant awards for organizations in parts of the Lakes Region.
The Table Rock Lake Community Foundation is accepting applications from organizations in Stone County and southeastern Barry County through August 15. Organizations that can apply for the grants include non-profit, 501(c)3 organizations, schools, and governmental agencies. The organizations can apply for funds up to $3000.
Grant Application manager for the foundation Nixa Jane Ayres says during interviews on KRZK's "The Upside" and MY 100.1's "Mornings with Josh Grisham" program that the range of the grants in the past have been provided many different types of services for immediate needs as well as for programs from other not for profits.
