The Taney County Health Department releases information on previously unreported COVID-19 Deaths.
In a release, the health department comfirms seven more deaths bringing the county total to 181 since the beginning of the pandemic.
One individual was in their 50's, three in their 60's, and three in their 70's according to the release. Information on the deaths are released as soon as the cause of death and residence of the individuals can be confirmed by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services and the Taney County Coroner's Office.
TCHD continues to remind the community that vaccination is the best way to decrease the likelihood of getting a
severe case of COVID-19. TCHD is encouraging everyone 5 years of age and older to get the COVID-19 vaccine.
Practicing good hand hygiene and staying home when sick continues to be important in reducing the spread of the
disease according to the release.
