102 People have now died in the Branson area due to COVID-19 in updated numbers released Wednesday by the Taney County Health Department.
The department list in the release nine people have died due to the virus in the last three months, five males and four females ranging in age from their 30's to 90's. The release goes on to say that the count is updated when a victim's residence and cause of death are confirmed.
Taney County Health Department officials continue to encourage observing COVID-19 Protocols for those not completely vaccinated including social distancing and face coverings while encouraging everyone to practice good hygiene and stay home if sick. Officials also encourage those people that haven't yet to get a COVID-19 Vaccination.
