The last week of August to feel more like Autumn than Summer.
Temperatures that have been cooling over the weekend will drop lower today with the chance of rain according to the National Weather Service, which expects highs to stay in the 70s as rain is possible, especially in areas south and west of a Joplin to Branson Line. The best chance of rain on Monday in the Lakes Region will be in northern Arkansas.
Conditions will be dry midweek with highs in the 80s and overnight lows in the 50's before another round of rain will cool things down on Thursday.
The beginning of the Labor Day Weekend looks cool and dry with highs around 80.
