The Branson Baseball Pirates drop their first game of the year while the Branson Lady Pirates Soccer Team hit a rough patch of games.
The Baseball Pirates, who rallied to remain unbeaten on Friday against McDonald County, dropped their first game of the year on Saturday, losing 7-1 at Fair Grove in a game that was added late last week due to other games having been lost due to weather. The Pirates are back in action Monday at Springfield Catholic.
Meanwhile, the Lady Pirate Soccer squad had started off 7-0 before a double overtime loss at Bolivar last week. The Lady Pirates dropped a pair of games in the Kansas City area, losing 2-1 at Pleasant Hill Friday and 7-0 at St. Michael on Saturday. The Lady Pirate are on the road again on Monday traveling to West Plains.
