
Most Missouri High Schools in the Lakes Region are getting ready for Round 2 of Track Postseason Competition with Sectional Meets.
Except for Branson, which as a Class 5 School will participate in a District Meet Saturday at Springfield Parkview, other schools had their District Meets last Saturday. The top four finishers in each event will take part in this weekend's meet.
As previously reported, Hollister Track Athlete Sinry Mendoza took home three District Championships in the Class 3 Meet in Lamar, winning the 800, 1600, and 3200 Meter Runs.

Some other notable performances included from Brynlie Yarnell of Forsyth, who in the school's first year fielding a Track and Field Program, took home second in the Class 3 1600 Meter and third in the 3200 to advance to sectionals.
Sectional Meets this weekend will be in Carl Junction for Class 1 and in Mountain Grove for Classes 2 and 3.
