The five MOARK Football Schools traveled for football action on Friday with two teams winning and the other three falling.
One of the big upsets at the night happened at Springfield's JFK Stadium as the winless Parkview Vikings upended the Branson Pirates 18-13. The Pirate offense, a strength of the time this season, ran-up against a Viking defense that held them to only one score in four trips to the red zone. The Pirates, who had only two the ball over twice in four previous games, turned the ball over three times in the loss, which is only the second for Branson in the last two regular seasons.
Meanwhile another team in Springfield also had a hard night as Catholic remains undefeated as they outscored the Forsyth Panthers 50-34 while just east of Springfield, the Reeds Spring Wolves losses a match-up of winless teams as Strafford grabs a 23-12 win.
The two MOARK winners where the "H" teams with Harrison coming off their bye week with a win as the Goblins knocked off Alma 42-13 while Hollister also broke a two game losing streak as the Tigers win at Buffalo 30-16.
