Amber Dawn Reynolds (Schaefer), age 38, passed away on February 23, 2026.
Amber Dawn Reynolds (Schaefer), 38, of Gainesville, MO, passed away on Monday February 23rd, 2026. She was born October of 1987 in Springfield, MO to Arthur (Tony) Reynolds and Letha (Shrum) Reynolds now of Protem, Missouri. Amber was Class of 2006 graduate of Bradleyville, MO and also a graduate of Ozarks Technical Community College. She settled into the career of being an Individual Care Specialist in which she found great reward in helping others reach goals of independent living while working with families to meet their needs.
Previously Amber was a librarian at Mark Twain School, and a substitute teacher for local school districts. Most importantly, she was a cherished caring daughter, a big-hearted loyal to the bone sibling, and a loving dedicated mother to her three children who were always put first.
Amber is survived by her two daughters and a son, Jessika Chriswell, Cabella Schaefer and Bryer Schaefer of Gainesville, Missouri; her parents Tony and Letha Reynolds of Protem, MO; her sister Amanda Reynolds of Spokane, MO; her brother AJ Reynolds and his wife Lacie Reynolds of Gainesville, MO; her niece Annabelle Lathem of Springfield, MO; many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother Kevin Leon Reynolds and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Visitation and Funeral services will be held on Sunday March 1st, 2026, at 2p.m. and 3 p.m. respectively in Forsyth, MO at Snapp- Bearden Forsyth Chapel. Graveside will be at the Protem Cemetery in Protem, MO.
