Arthur Lee Trussell, age 80, passed away on February 6, 2026.
Arthur Lee Trussell, age 80, of Powersite, Missouri, passed away February 6, 2026, with family by his side. He entered this life on June 18, 1945, the son of Ralph and Marie (Grady) Trussell Sr. in St. Joseph, Missouri. Arthur was joined in marriage to Joy Lynn Bryant on July 18, 1998.
Arthur had a strong passion for outdoor activities, and he excelled in both fishing and hunting. He was an outstanding storyteller who loved connecting with others and made friends wherever he went. Arthur also danced remarkably well and was talented in the art of smoking meat. The memories created throughout the years will be cherished by all who knew him.
Arthur is survived by his wife of twenty-seven years, Joy Trussell of Powersite, Missouri; son, Craig Trussell and wife, Michelle of St. Joseph, Missouri; bonus daughters: Rachel Schmidt and Belle Schmidt of Branson, Missouri; grandchildren: Dalton (Kristen) Trussell and Megan Trussell; great-granddaughter, Macklynn Trussell. He is also survived by additional two grandsons; six granddaughters; and sister, Ruth Ann Ferguson.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ralph (Joye) Trussell Jr.; and first wife, Shirley (Green) Trussell.
A private family gathering will be held in Arthur’s honor at a later date. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.
