Michael Rex Mize, 57, passed away on August 26, 2025.
Michael Rex Mize, age 57, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away August 26, 2025. He entered this life on February 5, 1968, the son of Ross and Martha (deCardenas) White in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Michael was joined in marriage to Angela Files on April 28, 2012.
Michael honorably served in the United States Navy during Desert Storm. He was devoted to his family and held deep affection for them. Michael appreciated hunting, fishing, and engaging in numerous outdoor activities. The experiences and relationships he fostered throughout his life will be respectfully remembered by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Christie White; brother, Treavor White; sister-in-law, Eulaia Snow; and father-in-law, Ray Dillon.
Michael is survived by his wife of thirteen years, Angie Mize of Cassville, Missouri; sons: Michael Mize and wife, Sarah of Spokane, Missouri, and Jonathon Mize of Henryetta, Oklahoma; three grandchildren: Bradley, Eulalia, and Kiley; parents: Ross and Martha White of Branson West, Missouri; brother, Alexander White and wife, Ashley of Taneyville, Missouri; sister, Beckey Coon and husband, Spencer of Madisonville, Tennessee; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at Woodland Hills Family Church Chapel, 3953 Green Mountain Dr., Branson, Missouri, with Pastor Ted Cunningham officiating.
