Shirley S. Pokorski, age 88, of Blue Eye, Missouri, passed away on May 6, 2025. She entered this life on January 22, 1937, in Omaha, Nebraska, the daughter of Frank and Garland (Delaney) Smith. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Steve Pokorski; and two daughters: Lisa Anderson and Denise Anderson.
With a compassionate heart, Shirley worked for many years as a caregiver. She enjoyed socializing and made friends easily. Shirley was passionate about quilting, creating wonderful designs. She was loved by all and will never be forgotten.
Shirley is survived by her daughter, Renea Anderson of Denver, Colorado; daughter, Shereé Barrett of Omaha, Nebraska; sister, Judy Owens of Omaha, Nebraska; sister-in-law, Helen Smith of Omaha, Nebraska; aunt, Joanne Ehrenberg of Omaha, Nebraska; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
