Traci “Reneé” Barrett

Traci “Reneé” Barrett, age 61, passed away on March 13, 2026.

Renee Tridico Barrett, of Branson, Missouri, and a native of Louisiana, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 9, 1964, to Larry and Sarita Tridico.

Renee dedicated her life to serving others, guided by her deep and abiding faith in the Lord. She began her career as a hairdresser over 40 years ago and was known for her compassionate heart, often providing services to the elderly, disabled, homebound, and even those who were incarcerated. Her calling to serve extended beyond her profession, as she continuously opened her home and her life to those in need.
While continuing her work in hairdressing, Renee pursued and obtained her real estate license, later advancing to become a real estate broker and business owner. She took great pride in her work, but her greatest joy was always found in her family. Renee cherished time spent working in her flower beds, soaking up the sun at the beach, and making lasting memories with her daughters and granddaughters. She lived by the principle of “family first,” and all who knew her will remember her for her unwavering love, generosity, and servant’s heart.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Larry and Sarita Tridico; Anthony and Cecile Tridico; and her special cousin, Coleen Howland.
Renee is survived by her husband of seven years, John Barrett; her daughters, Abbi Melton and husband Chris, Aubri Lynn Broussard, and Jolie Badeaux; her stepdaughter, Marissa Barrett-D’Amico and husband Zay Storey; and her beloved granddaughters, Aria and Baylor Melton.

She is also survived by her sisters, Karie Liddell (Brian) and Laurie Tridico and Mark Leger; her nephew, Eric Liddell (Meghan); her nieces, Heidi Foster (Chris), Holli Lavergne (Jack), and Mandi Charlet (Brent); along with many great-nieces, great-nephews, and extended family members.
A celebration of Renee’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on March 27, 2026, at Sanctuary of Hope Church, 1790 Bee Creek Road, Branson, Missouri, with Pastor Sam Kaunley officiating.
