Christian County is one of a handful of counties that is holding an election today.
A recall election is being held in Nixa on Mayor Brian Steele while voters in Highlandville and the Village of Saddlebrooke will vote on a use tax today. Voters in both the Highlandville and Saddlebrooke Elections will vote at Highlandville Elementary School according to the Christian County Clerk's Office.
The only other nearby county with ballot issues today is Lawrence, where county voters will decide on a Public Safety Tax and voters in Mount Vernon will vote on a Park Tax.
Polls are open today until 7:00 this evening.
